Design notes: A silhouette inspired by the traditional blouse garments worn by the women of the indigenous, nomadic Rabari tribe of North-west India. The blouse is hand pleated at the neckline and the chest panel is double layered and therefore has no transparency.

Textile notes: This airy cotton and silk blend goes by the name of ‘Neem Reshmi’. It’s slightly sheer with a subtle uneven visual texture alluding to it’s hand crafted origin. Woven in the royal handloom weaving town of Maheshwar, Madhya Pradesh; a place where you walk the winding streets to the rhythmic sound of ‘clacking’ looms.
